letting go

winter seems reluctant to let go....

so before picking up my shovel
i needed to capture
the beauty

the music of the vineyard

i love wine.....everything about wine...
the vines, the grapes, the harvest,

the whole process of making a fine wine....

i love thinking about
when the grapes were harvested....
and how long it has been from then
until now....when i gently slip the
cork out of the bottle....
ahhh...the bouquet...
so.....
as i unwind from work
and enjoy a glass of wine...
i play in photoshop

lunch on the danforth

today was a day off for me...
the hubs and i decided on a light lunch in Greek town...

and it was delicious.....kalamari skaras
(couldn't resist taking an iphone photo)

then it was home
to do more homework in photoshop
must say....i am finding this quite addictive
love experimenting with different layers, filters
and blending modes....

the boardwalk

today was a beautiful day
for a walk along the boardwalk...
it snowed last night and everything
was so white and bright again...

i was playing with my iphone
taking random pictures....
i wanted to come home and
practice doing "things" in
photoshop

today i sent a valentines surprise
to my cousin in Scotland.....
she sent me a photo
of the basket...

.....cards, flowers, wine...chocolate....
so many caught off guard again....or
maybe just waiting until the
last possible moment...

my hubs wasn't caught off guard...

so.....on Saturday...
after work,
the hubs surprised me with an early
valentines gift...
an iphone!
i have been dreaming of one for ages....

now the fun begins!
