Promises.....

I promised a friend
I would revisit my neglected blog
and at least post a photo...




...these glorious poppies
are blooming in her beautiful
garden today

i had a two day meeting this week
in Niagara-on-the-Lake

needless to say...there was lots of wine!

we sampled a new pinot grigio and a shiraz....
both were excellent

the vineyards are awakening....

finally saturday

this has been an exhausting week...
year end inventory at work
and a ton of paperwork
to complete....

i feel weighed down and lacking in
energy...

i bought some pansies after work
today...they always make
me smile

as i was bringing them out of the car
i noticed some great clouds
dancing above the trees in
the ravine....

sipping a quiet cup of tea....my thoughts
drift to the awakening garden....
where will i put my pansies?
when will the tulips bloom?
what surprises will i find?

letting go

winter seems reluctant to let go....

so before picking up my shovel
i needed to capture
the beauty

the boardwalk

today was a beautiful day
for a walk along the boardwalk...
it snowed last night and everything
was so white and bright again...

i was playing with my iphone
taking random pictures....
i wanted to come home and
practice doing "things" in
photoshop
