Sunday at the beach

it was a beautiful early fall day...
the water a deeper shade of blue and
the sun casting a golden glow over the beach

Change of weather

what a difference a day makes!
yesterday was beautiful down by the beach...
today the sky and clouds hinted at the rain to come...

End of Summer

walking our dog at the beach yesterday
and i noticed how deserted it was...
the lifeguards are gone...
just the soft ripple of the waves
along an empty beach...

Sunflower surprise

we were down at the beach today
and i spotted
this single clump of sunflowers
growing happily in the sand
among some rocks...

so out comes my iphone
and after a little fix
with some of my photo apps...
voila!
